Shannon Willcott

As a 10-year resident of LB-MC-OC my journey started in a rural town on the South Coast of NL – St. Alban’s. Over the past 25 years I have had the privilege to study, work, and travel across the county and internationally. With this, I have experienced many of the common challenges and opportunities in ways of living.

I am currently in a Leadership role as a Project Manager with Equinor on the Bay du Nord project. I have a loving family, my wife Candice, who is my best friend, and two boys Chase and Brody, who attend school at St. Francis of Assisi.

My connection to LB-MC-OC is a common vision of a sustainable quality of living in rural Newfoundland. I believe in being community focused where direction is set through engagement with residents and close collaboration with our partners.

If elected as your councilor, I will be a strong advocate for building a culture of integrity, sharing learnings and effective communication. This is our community to nurture, and we must do it together!
